OVERVIEW OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC SITUATION

IN HA NAM PROVINCE IN 2018

1. Gross regional domestic product

Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2018 (at constant
prices) was estimated to gain 36,425.5 billion VND, an increase of
11.33% against that in 2017. This growth rate was quite high in
comparison with the average rate of the whole country and other

provinces in the Red River Delta. The contribution of the three sectors
to the overall growth rate 11.33% was as follows: the agriculture,

forestry and fishery sector increased by 1.70%, contributing 0.18
percentage points; the industry and construction sector rose by
14.09%, contributing 8.77 percentage points; and the service sector
expanded by 8.78%, making a contribution of 2.38 percentage points

to the growth rate.

GRDP in 2018 at current prices achieved 45,578.4 billion VND,
comprising the share of 3 economic sectors as follows: the agriculture,

forestry and fishery sector accounted for 9.7%; the industry and
construction sector made up 61.9%; and the service sector was 28.4%.
It could be seen that the provincial economy continuously increased in

terms of size and speed; the economic structure changed clearly
towards modernization.

2. State budget revenue and expenditure

In 2018, total state budget balancing revenue in Ha Nam
province gained 7,601.3 billion VND, an increase of 1,350.3 billion

VND (equivalent to a rise of 21.6%) compared to that in 2017.
Particularly, domestic revenue was estimated at 6,196.3 billion VND

(making up 81.5%), rising by 22.3%; the estimated figure for revenue
